The Little Big House is mindfully placed on the eastern slopes of Mount Wellington with a deliberately small footprint. The dwelling is stacked across two levels to match the undulating terrain and is designed to be both light and contained. Polycarbonate cladding on the eastern and western facades creates shadow walls, with window openings designed to reveal garden, sky or shadow.
