Not to be missed is a sticky beak at this recently completed building on the fringe of the inner city before the tenants move in! Inside, the steel and timber staircase leads you up to the second floor where the origami-like ceiling undulates to encourage views out to the city and City Park. Outside, the retail spaces on the ground floor step in and out to create a laneway at a human scale. The brick material ties in with neighbouring buildings, including the Alfred Harrap & Sons Building, the Boags Brewery Precinct and the Gasworks Site – keep an eye out for them from the upper floor. This new office space is airy, light and fun, and is providing an inviting space to work in Launceston’s CBD.
