Dale Campisi and Brady Michaels – aka The Gents – travelled more than 40,000kms around Australia in search of the country’s best vintage signs for their photography book Signs of Australia: vintage signs from the city to the outback (New South Books). On their journey, they found a wealth of vintage signs and advertising in Hobart that reveal the city’s commercial and industrial heritage. During their walk, the Gents will share hidden signs and share stories about Hobart’s diverse built environment.
