Peter Wilmott was known for the subtlety of his designs, both as an architect and teacher. Passing in 2011, he left behind a legacy of original and carefully crafted modernist small projects, and this delightful small chalet for a Swiss client is no exception. The client so loved the views to Mt Arthur that he spent six weeks every year here in this modest project that celebrates the mountain context and the simple demands of its brief with a beautifully detailed exploration of small design.
