In a world where the lines between day and night, light and dark, have become blurred do we really understand the implications?  The use of electric light to extend our days has become standard practice over the last century, invariably removing darkness from our lives, but the consequences in doing so will surprise many.

Join us for an evening of discussion where we look at the negative impact artificial light at night is having on our planet. Feature a short presentation from Dark Sky Tasmania followed by a 30-minute panel discussion that will bring together expert views from the lighting, scientific and astronomical fields to explore the problem of light pollution.  A fascinating subject that will have you questioning our choices around light after dark, and change the way you experience the night.
